We are now looking for a leader to Oriola’s Financial Shared Services organization to Stockholm, Sweden. The leader is responsible for the common processes within financial shared services function, the owner of finance solutions consisting of SAP and Microsoft Navision and the financial systems integrated to SAP, and the organization performing the financial transactions. Part of the responsibility is to oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and taxation in the countries. The leader will also carry a significant role in designing and building the compliance controls in the systems and processes.

The financial shared services organization consists currently of finance teams in Stockholm, Sweden and Espoo, Finland. The total headcount today is 21 persons. 

The interface to group reporting (in HFM) is tight and the co-operation must be seamless, as the quality in group reporting is made in the finance organization. In the small group finance organization teamwork is needed in all development projects.

The Director, Financial Shared Services reports to CFO and is a member of the Finance steering team. Other members of the team are Group Business controller, Financial Controller responsible for group financial reporting, four Business area controllers, and Treasury manager.

The successful candidate will have

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics, or equivalent

  • Good skills in IFRS reporting

  • At least 10 years’ experience in various roles in accounting (at least partly in IFRS reporting environment).

  • Experience in working in shared services –type of organization

  • Experience in complex accounting and taxation (income tax, VAT) issues.

  • Experience in process harmonization and standardization

  • Passion for process development and documentation. Result and action oriented, high drive to make a change.

  • Good understanding of tools needed in efficient financial transaction handling, and preferably experience in SAP and/or Microsoft Navision.

  • Strong leadership skills leading the shared finance organization

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives, and tight deadlines 

  • Experience in managing system implementation projects

  • Strong co-operation and communication skills and ability to create and maintain a network essential to your work. You will work very closely with the business areas, logistics and supply chain, IT and other support organizations and also externally with vendors and customers. Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Languages; Fluent English

  • In addition, you are inspired by challenges, willing to actively learn new things and develop your competence. You are a flexible team player and able to adjust well to new situations.
